Moodboarding is great for a number of things: starting a project, giving a feel for a theme of a shoot, helping us narrow down a concept, helping stimulate a presentation or acting as a visual stimulant or visual accessory to a voiceover that we're giving—whether it be for a briefing or for a project report out, or even a creative review.
We're constantly having people take pictures, put clippings together and put them on big boards. It takes a lot of time, uses a lot of ink, uses a lot of space. It's so great when we can have a Niice board that everyone's collaborating on and we can just put it up on a screen, iIt saves a lot of time and saves a lot of energy. It gives us an opportunity to talk through work, generate ideas, and/or finish or continue a project, in one view.
